Who are We?
Brinker James is a Pittsburgh-based Indie duo consisting of Andrew Glaser and Ben Saunders. What started with two roommates bonding over music and their acoustic guitars has evolved into a full swing musical project. Brinker James is a way for the duo to express themselves and create a community of passionate artists and careful listeners.

Brinker James's debut album, Wooden Shield, was built around themes of innocence, love, grief, memory, hope, and renewal. While the tracks are strong on their own, the album was designed to unfold as a connected journey. The hero on this journey is you, me, and all who have lived. Innocence gives way to experience. Changing seasons become metaphors for growth. Hearts broken, lives lost, and addiction seduces. But to live is to be resilient, and Wooden Shield recognizes this as it invites listeners to reframe an ending as an opportunity to begin again.
